🐾 We are inspired by National Dog Day to take a moment to celebrate our best friends who always have our backs—our dogs! Like a trusted co-pilot guiding us through the skies of shipping and logistics, these loyal companions are by our side through every adventure, tail wagging, ready for the next mission. At Shipping Pilot, we know that a good co-pilot makes all the difference, whether in the cockpit or in life. That’s why we asked some amazing team members to share stories about their favorite co-pilots—their dogs!

Alfred | Shephard | Age 6
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Toys last 5 seconds at most, treat salt and vinegar chips
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: High Fives
💖 Something Special: He is such a loving good boy <3

🏡 Working from Home: Laying next to momma all day!
BMO | Mini Poodle | Age 1
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Carrots, ice cubes & white rice
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: He knows sit, stay, please (front paws up), speak, spin, down and boop (nose against fingertip)
💖 Something Special: He is learning all of his commands in English, Spanish, and Sign Language!
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: Package breakdown, he loves ripping up boxes.
🏡 Working from Home: He hangs out in my room, usually chills on my bed or on my lap while I work. He doesn’t like being away from me too much.
Hana | Australian Cattle Dog, Border Collie & Terrier | Age 7
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Frisbee
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: Can “sit pretty” and is really good at catching the frisbee.
💖 Something Special: She gets her name Hana from the scenic road leading to Maui.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: She would get fired for wanting to only play or sleep.
🏡 Working from Home: She sits patiently as I get settled at my desk and once I am, she sits by my side.
Bruce | Siberian Husky | Age 11
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Tennis Balls
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: Handshakes
💖 Something Special: He hold treats between his paws so he doesn’t have to eat off the floor.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: Manager, he’s the leader of his wolf pack at home.
🏡 Working from Home: Sits under my desk.
Candy | Golden Retriever | Age 10
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Any treats!
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: Being a good girl all the time.
💖 Something Special: We took her home with us after finding her on the side of a remote road and she has the sweetest disposition about her.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: HR because she loves people.
🏡 Working from Home: She’s really independent and does her own thing all day.
Molly | Pit Bull | Age 4
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Tiny stuffies
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: She brings different people different toys because she thinks they have favorites.
💖 Something Special: She’s super curious and a really fast learner. Also very empathetic and snuggly.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: Receiving. She loves to get the mail.
🏡 Working from Home: She lays on the couch in my office and looks out the window.
Nova | Breed Unknown | Age 5
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Jerky and Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: Great at babysitting, running fast and jumping high.
💖 Something Special: Was a stay found at a shop where my husband now works.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: Security/barking and anyone or anything out of place
🏡 Working from Home: Playing with her sister and barking at anything outside she doesn’t recognize.
Roxy | Pit Bull/Black Lab | Age 9
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Squeaky ball, steak
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: She is the protecter of the house.
💖 Something Special: She a zoomie queen.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: Manager, she’s the boss of the house.
Koda | XL American Bully | Age 3
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Basketball
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: He loves to give paw and sit pretty.
💖 Something Special: He’s a 91 lb. lap dog and it’s all my fault!
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: HR because he loves people.
Tiger | Mountain Cur | Age 4
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Stuffed animals he can rip apart.
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: He will stand on his hind legs until you give him a treat. He also gives great hugs!
💖 Something Special: His name was nancy when I first rescued him, he was owned by one of my dementia patients that thought he was a very pretty girl. My patient passed and I couldn’t let him go to a shelter.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: Dock Guy, he would scream to let you know people are here. He doesn’t know how to bark he yells no barks.
Ginger | Red Nose Pit | Age 2
🦴 Favorite Toy or Treat: Frisbee
🐕 Tail-wagging Talent: She is a great mama to her 11 pups!
💖 Something Special: She loves to get into garbage trying to break her from that is going to be the death of me. She was abused and left outside we rescued her.
✈️ Job at Shipping Pilot: Material Handler she will get all the trash up!
